The production ‘Kong: Skull Island’ has had its ups and down, especially when it comes to the casting process. Now it seems that the prequel film to King Kong has it hit a major up with its cast.
According to Deadline, Golden Globe winner, John Goodman has joined the cast as Randa, a government official who leads an expedition to the titular island. Goodman will be joining the cast along with Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, Jason Mitchell, Corey Hawkins, and Toby Kebbell. Goodman is the actor to have a confirmed character in the film.
‘Kong: Skull Island’ will follow the story of a man (Tom Hiddleston) who travels to the island after his brother is stranded there while searching for a mythical serum believed to cure all diseases. He must lead a team of rescuers while confronting the creatures that live on Skull Island.
‘Kong: Skull Island’ will be helmed by Jodan Vogt-Roberts with John Gatins and max Borenstein scripting the project.
‘Kong: Skull Island’ will hit theaters March 10th, 2017.
