Now you can add another iconic Batman character to the rumor list. A while back, ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Jena Malone as been rumored to be play different roles in ‘Batman v. Superman.’

According to Latino Review, Jena Malone will be playing Barbara Gordon also known as Batgirl and Oracle. Zack Snyder or Warner Bros. has released no official statement about her involvement, but Malone has been seen on set talking to Snyder. The two worked together on ‘Sucker Punch’ back in 2011, so Snyder and Malone have a previous relationship.

Barbara Gordon made her first appearance as Batgirl in ‘Detective Comics’ #359 back in January 1967. That same year, Yvonne Craig portrayed Batgirl in the ‘Batman’ 66 series along with Adam West and Burt Ward. In 2002, Dina Meyer portrayed Barbara in the short-lived Fox series, ‘Birds of Pray.’ But instead of Batgirl, she was her second persona, Oracle. Her first film appearance was back in 1997’s most hated superhero film ‘Batman & Robin,’ portrayed by Alicia Silverstone.

‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ will hit theaters March 25th, 2016.
